The Spirit of Literacy and Collaboration: An-Nawawi IBS Students Participate in Learning Camp 2026 in Bantaeng
An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School – (IBS) Pa’Bumbungang Bantaeng has once again demonstrated its active presence in district-level educational activities. This time, a delegation of students and mentors from the institution participated in "Learning Camp 2026" (Kemah Belajar 2026), organized by the Regional Board of the Nusantara Teacher Learning Community (KGBN) of Bantaeng Regency.

The three-day event, held from Friday to Sunday, May 1–3, 2026, was centered at MTs DDI Mattoanging, Bantaeng Regency. This program resulted from a collaboration between KGBN Bantaeng and the Bantaeng Regency Belajar.Id Community, with an official endorsement from the Bantaeng Regency Ministry of Religious Affairs Office.

The Principal of SMP IT An-Nawawi IBS, Mutiah Sumarno, S.Si., M.Pd., sent the school’s top representatives to acquire knowledge and network with participants from other junior high schools across Bantaeng Regency. The delegation was accompanied by two mentors:
  • Munawwar Rusli, S.Pd., Gr.
  • Ummul Mu'minin, S.Pd.

The students delegated to participate in the entire series of Learning Camp 2026 activities were:
  1. Rahmat Hidayat
  2. Muh. Rahmat
  3. Ananda Naura Dafina Halyb
  4. Alifa Aura Syifana
  5. Fitrah Rahaidatul Aisyah

Learning Camp 2026 was designed as a space for middle school students (SMP and MTs) throughout Bantaeng Regency to develop competencies through fun and collaborative learning methods. The participation of An-Nawawi IBS students is expected to broaden their horizons beyond the traditional pesantren curriculum while simultaneously honing their social skills and digital literacy.

The Chairman of the An-Nawawi IBS Foundation, Dr. Abudzar Al Qifari, S.Pd.I., M.Pd.I., stated that the students' active involvement in such events is a testament to An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School's commitment to producing a generation that is not only religiously grounded but also adaptive and creative in facing modern developments.
