An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School – The Bantaeng Regency Government continues to demonstrate its steadfast support for the development of worship facilities and religious education within the region. In its latest initiative, a social aid package amounting to IDR 2,000,000 was officially distributed to the An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School Mosque on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.
The aid was presented directly by the Vice Regent of Bantaeng at the Vice Regent's Official Residence (Rumah Jabatan). The funds were symbolically received by the Treasurer of the An-Nawawi Mosque, representing the boarding school administration.
This contribution is expected to support the operational and maintenance needs of the mosque facilities within the boarding school environment, ensuring a comfortable setting for students (santri) to worship and pursue their studies.
Responding to the local government's care, the Chairman of the An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School Foundation, Dr. Abudzar Al-Ghifari, M.Pd.I., expressed his profound gratitude for the attention shown by the Vice Regent and the Bantaeng Regency Government.
"On behalf of the An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School Foundation, we would like to say jazakumullahu khairan (may Allah reward you with goodness) to the Vice Regent and the Bantaeng Local Government for this assistance. This support is deeply meaningful to us in managing the House of Allah and nurturing the Qur’anic generation in Bantaeng. May this contribution become a form of amal jariyah (perpetual charity) and bring blessings for the progress of Bantaeng Regency," stated Dr. Abudzar Al-Ghifari.
The handover ceremony reflects a harmonious relationship between the government and Islamic educational institutions in realizing a religious and prosperous Bantaeng. It also serves as a testament to the government’s recognition of the vital role religious education plays in the community.
